Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Back Waxing-15 Mins.

Despite the name, the session is scheduled for 15 minutes and most clients are finished within that time. Consultation, prep, and aftercare advice are included. Timing may vary slightly with hair density or additional touch-ups.

Some clients experience brief stinging during hair removal, but trained technicians use fast technique, calming products, and precise pulls to minimize pain. Breathing, numbing creams, or short breaks can further reduce sensitivity when requested.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning, skip exfoliation 24 hours before, and ensure hair is about quarter-inch long for effective waxing. Avoid retinoids and blood-thinning medications unless cleared by your doctor. Arrive clean and wear loose clothing for comfort.

Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and care. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and produce finer hair. Touch-up appointments maintain results and extend periods between sessions.

Shaving between waxing appointments is not recommended because it alters regrowth and can affect future waxing results. If shaving is necessary, try to avoid close razors on the area and allow at least a few days before your next waxing to ensure proper hair length.

Temporary redness, mild swelling, or follicle sensitivity are common immediately after waxing. These typically subside within hours to a day. Avoid hot baths, heavy sweating, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours; use soothing lotions and follow our aftercare to minimize irritation.
